Dear Friends of Manchester Summerstage,
We are excited to announce that this summer Manchester Summerstage will be performing Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical! We look forward to continuing the Manchester Summerstage (Summershow) tradition. In 2023 we had 60 students participating as actors, singers, dancers and behind the scenes tech help. This year we begin again in May with auditions and our first rehearsals. Students will work hard throughout the summer months to make magic happen and bring this show to life onstage.
MSS Mission Statement - to create an educational and memorable summer experience for the young people of our community by enabling them to participate in a professional-caliber theater production. Through the medium of live theater, we will enhance each individual's life skills by building self-confidence and poise, emphasizing a strong work ethic, and fostering cooperation and creativity, whether in front of the curtain or behind the scenes.
Thank you for all you do to support us in the community. We love to see you at our shows supporting the cast and crew, cheering us on at the July 4th parade, and appreciate when you lend us props and costumes. We especially appreciate you giving the opportunity for all youth to participate because of your donations. Your financial support helps us provide scholarships and keeps our program affordable for all.
