Dear Friends of Manchester Summerstage,

 

We are excited to announce that this summer Manchester Summerstage will be performing The Addams Family!

 

As we do each year, we are asking for your help through our annual fundraiser. But this year we are asking for extra help. At the end of the 2024 season, as our set was taken down to store, the Director noticed cracks in some of the larger pieces of lumber. Can you make a donation to help us replace those unsafe pieces that have become too worn to reuse?

 

Last summer we had 70 plus students participate in our program as actors, singers, dancers and tech help. This year we begin again in May with auditions and our first rehearsals. The MSS Mission Statement is to create an educational and memorable summer experience for the young people of our community by enabling them to participate in a professional-caliber theater production. Through the medium of live theater, we will enhance each individual's life skills by building self-confidence and poise, emphasizing a strong work ethic, and fostering cooperation and creativity, whether in front of the curtain or behind the scenes.

 

Thank you for all you do to support us in the community. We love to see you at our shows supporting the cast and crew, cheering us on at the July 4th parade and Red, White & Blue Breakfast. Your financial support will also help us provide scholarships and keep our program affordable for all.

Our evening performances will be held at 6 PM on July 24, 25, 26, and our matinee will be on Sunday, July 27 at 2 PM. We hope to see you there.
