Eric Vendt, Director is returning to Manchester Summerstage after directing last year's production of Grease. He graduated Gordon College with a BA in English Literature and Theatre. He went on to teach theatre for four years at Essex Christian Academy, served in many roles in the theatre program at Pingree School, had a six-year run as an actor and director with History Alive’s original production of Cry Innocent: the People Vs. Bridget Bishop, co-founded childrens’ educational theatre group Paper Tiger Productions, and ran summer theatre camps at Brookwood School and Camp Mitchman. As an actor, his credits include The Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors, Bottom in A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Paul in You Can’t Take It with You, and Lt. Schrank in West Side Story. Among Eric’s directing or assistant-directing credits are Twelve Angry Men, Peter Pan, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Into the Woods, and Dear Edwina, Jr. He is currently coordinator of the math department at Rockport High School.

Janet Glasser (Music Director) is thrilled to be at Manchester Summerstage for her first year. Janet lives in Wenham, MA and runs a private voice and piano studio with students of all ages from all over the North Shore. She is the accompanist for several local schools and freelances as a Music Director and pianist/keyboardist in the Greater Boston area. Shows she has music directed include Sweeney Todd, Shrek, Mary Poppins, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Saltonstall and Footloose. She also music directed a show from Blue Gate Theater, entitled Confession, in preparation for a potential Broadway run. She co-founded a non-profit community theatre, Entr’acte Theatre Company, and was President and Music Director there for 4 years. Janet enjoys all types of music and has fun as the keyboardist for the Psychedelic Relics, a classic rock cover band. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.

Eve Poliskey, Choreographer is a current Senior at Wheaton College MA majoring in Psychology and minoring in Education. She trained for dance at Cape Ann Center for Dance in Beverly where she also taught several classes throughout high school. Eve is currently on the Wheaton College Dance Company and is extremely excited to return to Summerstage this year after choreographing last year's production of Grease! 

 

Nate Kelleher, Technical Director, Scenic Designer is so excited to be back at Manchester Summerstage this year for such a fantastic show. He has worked for Summerstage for the past two years and has starred in past Summerstage shows, most notably as Harold Hill in The Music Man. He is a second-year theatre major at Suffolk University studying scenic design and theatre management.
